Instructions for Use of Teflon Pans
Wash and dry the teflon pan that you bought in the first place.
Oil the pan in the first use.
PFA Teflon-coated products can be heated to max.250 degree.
FEP Products with Teflon coating can be heated to max 205 degree.
If the upper limit of temperature is not complied with, the non-stick feature will be lost in a short time and sticking may occur on the products.
Check your oven temperature settings and have them calibrated periodically
Do not use sharp-tipped hard materials such as metal spoons, forks, spatulas, etc. and brushes with teflon coated pans. Metal and hard tools scratch your pan and damage its coating.
Instead of these, use wood or special materials and do not scratch your pan.
For cleaning; Use liquid detergent in warm water and a soft sponge or you may wipe the pan with a damp cloth.
Never use powder detergent and dishwashing wool material products.
Do not throw Teflon coated products over each other scratchy. Put a protective separator between them.
If you comply with all these conditions of use; you can get the maximum efficiency from your products.
And you'll use them longer.
Teflon coating is food safe.
